Take Flight Beginner Course
The TAKE FLIGHT 6 Week Program is a full course taught by Kristin Pope to help you learn the olympic weightlifting lifts. This program will help you gain an in depth understanding of the movements of the Snatch and Clean + Jerk, plus the accessory lifts normally found in a weightlifting routine. We are starting from ground zero in this course and turning you in to a weightlifter!
The TAKE FLIGHT 6 Week Program is a full course taught by Kristin Pope to help you learn the olympic weightlifting lifts. This program will help you gain an in depth understanding of the movements of the Snatch and Clean + Jerk, plus the accessory lifts normally found in a weightlifting routine.
The program is meant to be completed as a stand alone training regime and majority of the workload will be spent on learning technique. This training plan features video guides in the introduction to get you started with the basics, a video guide for each week introducing the technique for each advancement in learning, and 6 weeks of programmed workouts.
TAKE FLIGHT is meant for beginners that want an introduction in to the world of weightlifting, but can also be used by those already performing the snatch and clean + jerk that want to take it back to basics to refine their technique. The course can be taken at your own pace, but ideally the workouts will be completed within a 6 week timeframe to accumulate reps for practicing what you are learning. What you will not find in this course is technical jargon that is hard to understand, Kristin created these videos with easy to follow instructions in common language.
This program is 4 days per week , for 6-weeks. There are 24 total training days. Each workout will take around 1 to 1.5 hours to complete, depending on how much time is spent watching the videos. The plan can be repeated as many times as you would like, and is yours to keep forever once downloaded.
